After five days in Dubai, we flew to Hong Kong.
A random street.
Heaven for some; Dutch goodies…
Finally I got my playful bubble tea. Delicious. Most people think it is disgusting…
Noodles for brekkie. Difficult to get something cold in the morning…
Old Town in Macau. Incredibly humid. Colonial and obvious European influences.
Cooling smoothie break.
Medical check up with a jin & jang tea master. I was in balance even though being pregnant. Impressive to say the least after our busy schedule, long flights and close to unbearable humidity.
Beijo no ombro!
Ouch, this dude failed. Not in balance...
Had to come back two days later and drink a healing tea. Let's put it like this, the smell of the tea did not exactly appeal to me. Next to the cup, pork candy to compensate the tea flavor. Hm.
Dinner time in authentic street restaurants.
Hong Kong by night. Boat tour with the husband to be and the rest of the mainly Dutch male wedding entourage.
Another boat tour with the wedding entourage. Beautiful nature.
The 10 best men.
Power chill.
The official wedding invitation. Perfect, we did not fly to Hong Kong in vain.
The wedding lunch and the media crew.
Happy guests enjoying a delightful suckling pig and jasmine tea.
The afternoon wedding ceremony in Repulse Bay.
Here we go. The full entourage finally gathered in one picture. Really elegant.
Traditional Chinese dragon performance after the ceremony. Once they left, the dinner and party began.
All in all, a fantastic and eventful week in Hong Kong. A bit exhausting for a pregnant lady but I kept up very well. The day after, July 7, we flew to a magic summer Sweden to relax and recover.
