A good bye too soon. Yesterday afternoon we went to Carolina's and Marco's good bye party. The party took place in a typical Brazilian churrasco cottage. Except for the delicious and tender meat they also offered Swiss schnapps in order to keep us warm. The Brazilians loved it and I had a good excuse to refuse. Carolina was my first, true and genuine friend that I made here in Brazil and we meet in our second week of Portuguese school in March last year. I was also Carolina's witness at their wedding in July last year. Beautiful honor and memory. It saddens me to see them both go but I'm also happy for them and their upcoming adventure in Peru. A country where the economy is boosting at the moment (strongest economy in South America) as well as less crime and more guinea pigs on the plates. Caros amigos, we wish you all the best!!
