Dubai Flashback

Dear Dubai, it is over. I'm very happy I had the opportunity to come and visit you, this June, in order to find out if I still have a crush on you but I don't. I simply needed a personal closure. As soon as I left the airport and entered Sheikh Zayed Road, in my taxi, on my way to my friend, on Palm Jumeirah, I strongly felt we had drifted apart. My move to real and rough São Paulo was a very healthy choice. Back to reality. Three amazing and unbelievable years in your bubblegum pink world was enough and I am forever grateful. Even though my sorti was of a very quick nature, the moment was ripe and life brought me to a new continent where I have been introduced to new adventures and unforgettable moments, meetings and experiences. I have indeed grown in more than one way this past year.

If you look carefully, you can see my left big toe touching Burj Al Arab.
