While writing this afternoon I listened to a podcast and a TED Talk by a very interesting, admirable and inspiring person. Especially to me as a student of Islamic Studies. His name is Trita Parsi. Born in Iran, fled to Sweden during the Iranian revolution in 1979, made his PhD, in International Relations, at the world famous John Hopkins University, he is the founder and the current president of the National Iranian American Council, as well as an advisor to the American Administration regarding foreign policy towards Iran.
