It amazes me how small and accessible our world is becoming. Distances are no longer an issue. Just a pleasant journey. Last evening, my dear Swedish friend Suzanne, from Dubai, arrived in Sao Paulo for a business trip. We met up in her hotel in Jardim and had a drink and chatted and evaluated the whole year (already) that has passed since I left Dubai in March last year. Feels like yesterday. One day in Dubai, next in Sweden and yesterday in Brazil. Unbelivable but positive features of an international life. Suzanne brought me a sweet taste of my beloved Arab world: UAE dates!
