The Flying Dutchman's parents arrived this morning and it was a very sweet and emotional reunion at the airport. Always nice to have parents visiting and to show them our new home in yet another country. As a present, they brought me tulip bulbs, a perfect gift, and I look forward to plant them in my botanical garden...on my balcony. After the heatwave the past weeks we enjoyed a day with heavy summer rain. With colorful umbrellas we walked to an outdoor bistro in our hood Itaim and enjoyed an relaxing afternoon, under the rain. I got the impression that the waiters were a bit more stressed than we were.
