For being such an enormous multicultural giant, it always surprises me that the Arabic footprints are not more visible and distinguished. As an enthusiast, and student, of the Arabic Muslim culture I thoroughly went through our three São Paulo guidebooks, page by page. In the neighborhood of Bras I found Maxifour, a Lebanese super mercado. Two full pages dedicated to this wonderland. We buckled up, drove off only to arrive to a "hole in the wall," or a car port, if you like. Nevertheless, we still managed to bunker up with some delights and received happy flashbacks from our four years in the Middle East.
