In Holland when you have a newborn daughter and you welcome near and dear ones to your home to meet your miracle, you offer Rose en Witte Muisjes (pink and white mice), sugar coated anise seeds, on a piece of cracker. It has been a success…just a lot of vacuum cleaning to do.
