São Paulo Jockey Club

Finally we did it. Yesterday afternoon we visited São Paulo Jockey Club with our cosmopolitan crew. Interesting, something that is located just around the corner is more difficult to get yourself together to visit than to join a sailing expedition to Antarctica. After 18 months we finally got to enjoy the fresh and relaxing racing atmosphere in the middle of the otherwise very loud and busy Sampa. It was true fun to bet and I even made a modest amount of money. For most of the races I focused on the names such as Kosovo, Egypt and Chanel rather than the odds. Beginner's luck, I believe it is called. Of course, being on a race court again strongly brought my mind back to Dubai…and their tradition when it comes to horses and horse racing.
