Magic Mermaid?

Unfortunately a common view in Sao Paulo. I cross the Rio Pinheiros, two mornings a week, by foot and every time I'm flabbergasted by the smell that covers my face like a mask. Every morning there is a new constellation of "flea markets" floating under the bridges. It is tragic that the people, in a city of 20   millions inhabitants, don't care more about their environment nor think about future generations. The population is growing and obviously garbage and trash swell along with it. The other day there was a fridge floating around waiting for a magic mermaid to make it vanish… Poff!
