I´m Back...From Rio

Back home again after a few eventful days in Rio. In comparison to São Paulo, I experienced Rio as much more bohemian and tranquil. Except for the classic cultural agenda, Ipanema, Copacabana and Cristo I also paid my first favela visit. A rich experience like no other. Walking next to heavy weapons and drinking caipirinhas in the local bar. On my last day, I visited Abrigo Rainha Silvia, a shelter, supported by our Swedish Queen Silvia, for abandoned pregnant women as well as with young children. My new friend Daniel (in the pic), 12 years, who made me feel like a looser when we were playing football, wanted nothing but to be loved and hugged!
