Bron/ The Bridge/ A Ponte

So, down here (from a Swedish geographical perspective), the Flying Dutchman and I recently discovered the Swedish/Danish TV-production Bron. To all my readers from Indonesia, South-Korea, Serbia, Venezuela, Egypt, Iran, Brasil, Malaysia, the US, Ukraine, Holland, the UK and the UAE, to mention a few, Bron means the bridge. In the picture, just like in reality, this is the bridge that connects my beautiful Sweden with Denmark (of course, also the other way around) and I can proudly anncounce that my father was involved in this massive construction project, which was completed and inaugurated in July 2000.

Anyways, the crime series follows a police investigation based on the discovery of a dead body, in the middle of the bridge, thus falls under the jurisdiction of both the Danish and Swedish police agencies. A very enthraling story and having your home town, Malmo, as a "Mini-Hollywood" makes it even more realistic and cliffhanging. It is always nice to be exposed to your "home arena" whilst  living abroad. The second season is now showing in Sweden and Denmark and has been sold to 57 countries, maybe one of yours? Not bad at all! Watch it today!
